I'm Pastor Lorenz of Trinity Church. How do I explain Trinity? Trinity Church is about helping people like you find Jesus. Jesus values people and so do we. Jesus encourages all of us to reach our God-given potential, and we want to help you reach our God-given potential. We want to help you to learn how to live by the supernatural power of God's Spirit so that you can overcome the negative influences in the world. At Trinity we want to help you learn the truth of God from the word of God so that you can walk in newness of life.

Trinity Church is also about community. God created you and me to need each other and to live in community with each other. As psychologist Abraham Maslow wrote in his book Motivation and Personality all people have a "hunger for contact, for intimacy, for belongingness." God provides a place where we can belong in local fellowships like our church. At Trinity Church you will find a loving community--a family--where you will feel loved, accepted, and affirmed. Another way that we try to be a loving community is in our small groups. Real community happens best in smaller groups of loving and caring relationships. If you're looking for a great place to belong, come and get involved in one of our small groups.

Trinity Church is about faith. We are a believing people. We believe that the Bible is the word of God. We believe that Jesus is the way to God. We believe that all people are alienated from God because of disobedience, but God has made a way for us to get back to God, and that way is Jesus. We believe that peace with God comes only by faith in Jesus who is God's one and only son. We believe that when a person puts his or her faith in Jesus, they become a child of God forever and will never again be separated from his love.

Trinity is about much more than what I've shared in these few paragraphes, but the only way to truly find out what we're like is to visit during our 10:45 Sunday morning worship service. I hope that you can come and see what God is doing at Trinity. Or if you're too far away to drive to our church, you can find another Bible-believing church in your community where you can worship God. May God bless you as you seek him.
